From Tuesday 29 September 2025 to Monday 8 June 2026, route 746 buses will divert and miss several stops while roadworks take place.

 

During Vivid Sydney from Friday 22 May to Saturday 13 June, route 288, 290 and 292 buses will use different stops due to road closures and expected heavy traffic. 

During Vivid Sydney from Friday 22 May to Saturday 13 June, route 311 buses will use different stops due to road closures on Friday nights and weekends. 

 

Route 311 buses will continue along Hickson Rd to Walsh Bay, and will not travel via Dalgety Rd, Towns Place, Argyle Pl or Argyle St at the following times: 

Buses to and from Millers Point will make additional stops on Hickson Rd at the Walsh Bay Arts precinct. Continue on foot towards Towns Place or Argyle Place. 
 
Allow extra travel time and check signs at bus stops for the alternative stop locations.

Missed stops: 

During Vivid Sydney from Friday 22 May to Saturday 13 June route 304, 333, 343, 396 and 392N buses will use different stops due to road closures on Friday nights and weekends. 

 

Buses that usually run to and from Circular Quay will start and end trips at Martin Place instead at the following times: 

Buses towards Circular Quay will end trips at Martin Place Elizabeth St, Stand C (2000421). Buses leaving the city will start trips from Martin Place Station, Elizabeth St, Stand E Sydney (2000283) instead of Circular Quay.  
 
Catch trains or continue on foot to travel between Martin Place and Circular Quay during these times. Allow extra travel time and check signs at bus stops for the alternative stop locations.

Missed stops: 

During Vivid Sydney from Friday 22 May to Saturday 13 June, buses will use different stops due to road closures. 
 
On Saturdays and Sunday of the long weekend (7 June), from 5pm to 1am, buses will start and end trips on York St at Wynyard Station instead of Bridge St. Stops on Bridge St will be missed. 
 
Buses to the city will continue over the Sydney Harbour Bridge instead of the Cahill Expressway Overpass and end trips on York St at Wynyard Station.  
 
Routes 202, 207 and 208 buses leaving the city will start trips from Stand K on York St (200033) at Wynyard Station. Route 263 buses leaving the city will start trips from Stand L on York St (200034) at Wynyard Station. Buses will then travel via Clarence St towards the Sydney Harbour Bridge to resume normal route.

Missed stops: 

From 5am Tuesday 2 to 7am Monday 15 June, routes 526, 533 and N81 as well as school route 770s services will divert while Footbridge Boulevard is closed due to roadworks.

Services in both directions will be diverting via Wentworth Place and Burroway Road, and will miss stops on Footbridge Boulevard.
 
Allow extra time and check signs at stops for alternative stop locations.

On Sunday 21 June, from 3am to 11am, route 545 buses will be diverting and using different stops while roads are closed for the Parramatta Half Marathon. 

From 4pm Sunday 21 to 5am Monday 22 June, buses will divert and miss stop QVB, York St, Stand D (200044) and instead use Stand E while roadworks take place.

From 10pm Sunday 28 to 5am Monday 2 June buses will divert and miss some stops while roadworks take place.

 

From Monday 13 October 2025 until Monday 13 July 2026, buses will divert and miss some stops while roadworks take place.

 

From 5am Monday 6 until 5pm Friday 17 July, route 781 and 799 services will divert and miss stops due to Mulgoa Rd upgrade works. Buses will divert away from Jeanette St via Mulgoa Rd, School House Rd, then Jeanette St as normal.

From Monday 16 March to Monday 31 August 2026, buses will divert and miss some stops while roadworks take place.

 

• Bus stop Jeanette St at Mulgoa Rd (2745219) will be closed. The alternative stop will be Regentville Rural Fire Brigade, Jeannette St (2745220) for the following services:
  
  • 781 – St Marys
  • 797 – Penrith to Glenmore Park (Loop Service)
  • 799 – Glenmore Park

From Tuesday 5 November 2024 until Monday 8 May 2027 bus stop Erskine Park Rd after Mamre Rd (275911) will be closed. Please use nearby alternative stop Westpark Industrial Estate, Erskine Park Rd (2759194) for the 779 towards Kemps Creek

From Monday 2 February for approximately 18 months, bus stop Mulgoa Rd after School House Rd (274512) and Mulgoa Rd after Glenmore Pkwy (2745130) will be temporarily closed while roadworks take place. Please follow the signs to the nearby alternative stop.

From 4am Monday 28 July 2025 to 11pm Tuesday 31 August 2027 ‎

From Monday 2 February until approximately 2028, buses will miss stop Halifax St after Wicks St (211336) while construction work takes place.

• Parramatta Rd before Burwood Rd (213412) will be closed.
  The alternative stop for 415, 461X, 461N and 530 services will be Burwood Rd at Esher Lane (213431).
• Parramatta Rd after Burwood Rd (213722) will be closed.
  The alternative stop for 415, 416X, 461N and 530 services will be Burwood Rd before Parramatta Rd (213462).

• Parramatta Rd before Burwood Rd (213412) will be closed.
  Customers for the N70, N71, N80 and N81 services should use the new stop on Parramatta Rd, after Burwood Rd (213460).
• Parramatta Rd after Burwood Rd (213722) will be closed.
  Customers for the N70, N71, N80 and N81 towards City Town Hall should use the alternate stop on Parramatta Rd opp Neichs Pde (213721).

From Monday 3 February until further notice, some bus stops will be closed due to road upgrades. Route 742 bus services will divert and run from alternative stops.

Stops closed: 

From Monday 3 March, route 620X services will run to a changed timetable and will run to an altered stopping pattern in Dural.

From Monday 3 March, route 712 will no longer operate.

You can travel between Parramatta and Westmead Children's Hospital via route 711 or frequent Parramatta Light Rail services.

From 4am Sunday 6 April, bus stop Alfred St at Lavender St (206128) will be permanently relocated approximately 80m south of the current stop due to works for the Sydney Harbour Bridge Cycleway Northern Access Project. The newly relocated bus stop will keep the same bus stop name and ID.

The following stops are currently located within no stopping zones and will be closed until signage is changed to legally permit stopping in this zone.

From Monday 26 May, students travelling in the morning from the Rutherford and Aberglasslyn areas to Rutherford Technology High School are to use the 2712 service (operated by CDC NSW), instead of the S520 service (operated by Grace Coaches).

• Powerhouse Museum, Harris St (Stop ID 200712)

From Friday 26 September until further notice, the following stops will be closed for route 942 services due to First Ave and Second Ave Bridge Crossing works.

 

From Monday 3 November, the following stops will close due to road upgrade works on Steyne Rd, Saratoga.

From Sunday 30 November, we’ll be making service adjustments to school bus services in South-West Sydney. These changes will improve the reliability and on-time performance of services. Some adjustments also include changes to route numbers and route paths.

From Monday 16 March, afternoon services have been adjusted to alleviate crowding on route S852 Medowie Christian School to Stroud, operated by Port Stephens Coaches.

Changes to route 1621 and 1463 services will affect Medowie Christian School and Irrawang High School. Plan your trip to view all stops and real-time up to date information.

 

From Monday 20 April, three new school routes will be introduced to serve the Calderwood catchment and surrounds.

These routes will be operated by Premier Illawarra and will service St Joseph’s Catholic High School, Albion Park High School and Shellharbour Anglican College.

From Sunday 14 June, bus stop Mowbray Rd opp Wallace St (2068108) will permanently close due to construction works.
Use alternative stops Mowbray Rd opp Ward St (2068107) or Mowbray Rd opp Mabel St (2068109) for route 267 - Chatswood to Greenwich via Northbridge and 760w and 762w school services.
